Furry Friends Pet Rescue Inc. rescues companion animals from high kill shelters . They are quarantined and fully vetted, including spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped, heartworm tested and treated for any known medical conditions. They also come with a health certificate showing proof of all vaccinations by a licensed vet.
All our animals are  placed in safe, loving foster homes until the right forever home is found.

We are a 501 (c) 3 non -profit organization supported entirely through donations and adoption fees. Your donation helps us save and improve the lives of animals who need help.

We are an all volunteer organization. We return calls and emails and process applications as quickly as we possibly can. We appreciate your understanding and patience.
Our adoption procedure is designed to find a good match between the dog and adopter.

If you are interested in adopting an application must be submitted and approved before a meet and greet can be scheduled.

1. Submit an application online  (click on application form). or download application.
After completed save, attach file and email to: FurryFriendsPetResc@gmail.com

2. The application must be filled out in its entirety an incomplete application will not be processed.

3. Notify your vet / references that we will be contacting them.

4. Be patient we are all volunteers and will do our best to contact you within 2 or 3 days

Make sure to keep an open mind about the age of the dog you would like to adopt. Most people immediately look for puppies because they are cute and cuddly and they would like a puppy for their children to grow up with. What many do not realize, though, is that puppies require an enormous amount of time and dedication to turn them into well-behaved dogs, almost as much time and energy as taking care of a human baby. And you will have the bulk of the responsibility to take care of the puppy, not your children.

Please be aware though that an adopted dog often goes through a settling in period. No one can know for sure how a particular dog will settle into your home and get along with your other pets. However, we’ll give you our thoughts on how the dog will likely do and be available for advice and assistance if you have any questions after the adoption.
