Helping Animals find their Forever Homes
All our pups have been spayed/neutered, microchipped, are current on all vaccinations, have been dewormed and are current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. They have also been treated for ANY known medical conditions. Our pups from out of state have satisfied the required quarantine period and received health certificates from a licensed veterinarian prior to traveling to NY. Our adoption donation is $375.00 unless otherwise noted.
Please don't forget to contact your vet and give permission to release info to Furry Friends Pet Rescue. All pets in household must be current on vaccines including rabies for indoor only cats and ferrets. The rabies vaccine is required by NYS law.
Be patient we are all volunteers and will do our best to contact you within 2 or 3 days. The application process can take up to a week. Please check your emails in case we have any questions.
Make sure you keep an open mind about the age of the dog you would like to adopt. Most people immediately look for puppies because they are cute and cuddly and they would like a puppy for their children to grow up with. What many do not realize, though, is that puppies require an enormous amount of time and dedication to turn them into well-behaved dogs, almost as much time and energy as taking care of a human baby. And you will have the bulk of the responsibility to take care of the puppy, not your children.
